Support Worker (Part-Time) – Complex Care
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced Support Worker to join our team, providing personalised care for a young male client in a family home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys making a meaningful difference in someone’s daily life.

About the Role
You’ll be supporting a young client with a range of daily needs, helping them live as independently and comfortably as possible. Your role will include:
- Clinical care – supporting with medication administration and suctioning
- Mobility and physical support – assisting with manual handling and day-to-day movement
- Encouraging an active lifestyle – supporting hydrotherapy sessions in a home pool and accompanying the client to appointments and outings (using a mobility vehicle)
- Personal care and companionship – delivering respectful, person-centred care that promotes dignity and independence
- Light household tasks – such as laundry, tidying, and general upkeep
- Being part of the family routine
Support & Training
We want you to feel confident and supported in your role. You will receive:
- Ongoing training and competency support tailored to the client’s needs
- Access to experienced nursing support and guidance
- A supportive environment where you can continue to develop your skills in complex care
Shift Pattern
- School term (Mon–Fri):
- Morning: 06:00–10:00Evening: 15:00–21:00
- Weekends: Morning: 07:30–13:00 Evening: 15:00–21:00
- 2-3 evenings required per week
Monday evening, Wednesday Evening, Friday evening, and Sunday evening (approx. 12–20 hours per week)
About YouWe’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience in complex care (including PEG care)
- Are confident supporting with medication and clinical tasks such as oral suctioning
- Are comfortable with manual handling and supporting hydrotherapy activities
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
- Are dependable, compassionate, and committed to high-quality care
