**Job Title: Barista - Front of House**
**Location:** Bristol
**Job Type:** full-time (4 days a week, 8/9-hours shifts)
**Pay:** £13 per hour for the first 3 months, increasing to £14 per hour thereafter.
**Overview:**
Join our family-run Italian restaurant, serving authentic cuisine in Bristol since 2017. As we expand with our second location, we are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Baristas to be part of our vibrant team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service to our guests. If you have a passion for coffee and hospitality, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take and process orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks, while adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with proficiency in basic mathematics
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly
- Support food preparation tasks when required, following health and safety guidelines
- Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
- Perform end-of-day cleaning duties
- Manage stock deliveries
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with coffee machines and barista skills
- Previous serving experience is essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends (with one weekend day off)
