Mechanical Fitters Required
We are looking for Mechanical Fitters to support our modular buildings factory and factory maintenance contracts.
The role involves installing and positioning equipment, assisting with modular builds, and carrying out general mechanical fitting duties in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and align mechanical components and equipment
- Assist with installation of modular units and associated systems
- Safely move and position machinery and equipment
- Support basic electrical/mechanical installation tasks where required
- Use hand and power tools in line with site procedures
- Follow technical drawings, plans, and instructions
- Install bracketry systems
- Adhere strictly to health & safety regulations on site
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Experience working in industrial or factory environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred
- CSCS card preferred/required depending on site
- Good understanding of mechanical systems and installation processes
- Strong awareness of health & safety
Desirable, Not Essential
- IPAF
- Forklift licence
- Mechanical knowledge
- Experience with modular builds or heavy equipment moves
