Position: HR Officer
Based in: ABP Lurgan
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus flexibility to ensure business requests are satisfied in line with agreed targets.

About the Role:
Reporting to the site's HR Manager and working closely with site's leadership team, the HR Officer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, while acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management. This is a varied role that combines employee relations, recruitment, talent development, HR administration and culture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment activities from advertising through to onboarding
Support learning, development and employee engagement and wellbeing activities
Maintain accurate employee records and ensuring HR systems are updated in a timely manner
Assisting with employee relations matters, including note taking, investigations and disciplinary or grievance processes
Monitor short term and long-term absences taking appropriate action to manage improvement
Ensure compliance with employment law and Company policies
Assist with payroll administration, reporting and provide holiday cover
Produce HR reports and contribute to process improvements
Provide HR advice and support to employees and managers
Assist the Leadership team with ensuring workforce capability, training, competence and employee engagement to support food safety, quality and business objectives
The ideal Candidate will have:
A qualification in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
Comfortable working with HR systems and maintaining employee data
Collaborative, resilient and adaptable
