Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Driver / General Labourer to join our team immediately. This role involves delivering goods, assisting with on site installations asks and supporting various operational activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and be comfortable with heavy lifting, ensuring smooth daily operations across multiple sites. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled with care and properly secured during transit
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Support warehouse activities such as stock organisation, inventory management, and general cleaning duties
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safe handling practices are followed
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed during daily operations
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within a commercial or logistics environment
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse work or general labouring roles is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Familiarity with driving regulations and safety standards within the UK
