Front Desk Receptionist
Employer: Grove Park Healthcare Group
Location: The Link Way, Brighton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Reporting to: Care Home Manager
Salary: Dependent on experience
Grove Park Healthcare Group is looking for a friendly, professional and well-presented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our 80-bed care home in Brighton.
As the first point of contact for visitors, relatives, professionals and suppliers, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. You will also provide administrative support to the Care Home Manager and Senior Management Team, assist with public relations and social media communications, organise meetings and support the coordination of events.
Key responsibilities
· Welcoming visitors, relatives, professionals and contractors to the care home.
· Answering and directing telephone calls with a professional and courteous manner.
· Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains welcoming and organised.
· Supporting the Care Home Manager and Senior Management Team with administrative duties.
· Organising meetings, including invitations, room bookings, agendas and relevant documentation.
· Assisting with the organisation and coordination of events at the care home.
· Liaising with suppliers, contractors and external service providers as required.
· Supporting public relations and appropriate social media communications.
· Maintaining accurate records and handling information with discretion and confidentiality.
· Receiving and distributing post and correspondence.
· Providing general administrative and logistical support to the management team.

Experience within a care, healthcare or professional services environment would be advantageous, although full consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the right skills and attitude.

Care Home Administrator
Employer: Grove Park Healthcare Group
Location: The Link Way, Brighton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm however, there may be instances when you will be required to stay late.
Reporting to: Care Home Manager
Salary: Dependent on experience
Grove Park Healthcare is seeking to recruit an experienced Administrator for our care home situated in Brighton. The right candidate will be working closely with the Home Manager and will help support front-line staff with admin duties.
The role involves dealing with the general public and local authorities so a friendly, professional and confident manner is essential as you will be the first point of contact. The successful candidate will require good IT and organisational skills and have the ability to multi-task and manage workload effectively.
Principal Responsibilities (but not limited to)
· Answering phone calls from prospective families, local authorities, hospitals and suppliers. You will be the first point of contact with the home,
· Provide a warm welcome to visitors. Show new visitors and prospective residents around the Home.
· Maintaining staff and resident files
· Ordering of stationery and office equipment.
· Sorting of mail, photocopying etc.
· Attend staff and resident meetings and take minutes.
· Organise appointments and transport for residents where necessary.
· Deal with Admission and Discharge paperwork for residents.
· Update resident lists and maintain up to date list of residents’ fees.
· Arrange Purchase Order numbers for deliveries or work required.
· Staff time sheets & liaising with Head Office.
· Maintenance of Staff training logs etc.
· Any other adhoc office work to ensure the smooth running of the Home.
About You:
· Good communicator, both written and oral
· Numerate
· IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Disciplined and organised
· Must have a positive attitude and willingness to pitch in when necessary
· Driving licence preferable but not essential
