General Labourer – Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our growing team, working across in Ireland. This role offers flexible work with the opportunity to progress into a full-time position for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will assist with the installation and maintenance of polyethylene (PE) pipeline systems, working alongside experienced operatives on a variety of projects. Work is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional periods of working away from home when required. Accommodation paid for by company.
Duties
- Assisting with the installation, maintenance and welding of polyethylene (PE) pipelines
- Supporting site operatives with general labouring duties
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely around site
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the team in completing projects efficiently and to a high standard
- Travelling to various work locations throughout Northern Ireland, Ireland and England.
Requirements
- Valid CSR Card (essential)
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate (essential)
- Previous construction or utility industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to undertake physical manual work
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
