We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Domiciliary Care Worker to join our team, providing high-quality home care services to clients in their own residences. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to promote independence.
- Provide medication reminders and administer medications following prescribed instructions to ensure safety and compliance.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to foster emotional well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness.
- Monitor clients’ health status, observe changes in behavior or condition, and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Drive clients safely to appointments, social outings, or errands while adhering to all traffic safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living or home care environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice support, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working in nursing homes or caring for seniors with complex needs is preferred.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a caring attitude and patience when working with diverse client needs.
