Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Junior Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Junior Chef, you will assist in creating memorable dining experiences while gaining valuable kitchen experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support senior chefs in cooking and plating dishes efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks during busy service periods
- Follow all food safety protocols to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
- Help with serving food in the restaurant as needed, ensuring timely delivery to guests
Requirements
- Passion for food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
