The Role-
As a Site Manager for Beaufort, you will work on complex and challenging developments to ensure that all aspects of the build programme are delivered to meet specified financial, quality, construction and safety targets and standards. You will coordinate all on-site labour activities and will be responsible for driving your site completion on schedule, within budget and most importantly, to the complete satisfaction of your customers. - Health & Safety for site and personnel
- Regularly review project status
- Strong leadership with employees/ subcontractors on site
- Engage with Supply Chain and internal buyers
- Quality Assurance
- Environmental control
- Ensuring compliance to procedures through weekly/monthly returns where required
- Early identification of problematic issues on site
- Produce safe and efficient sites
- Weekly submission of information including weekly timesheets, material sheets and plant & site checklists
- Collection of data for Contracts Managers including scheme drawings of layout, sections, construction details
- Collaborate with Head Office Management.
Experience we're looking for ..
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working within a Site Manager role, ideally gained within the Hospitals & Schools industry but depending on experience not limited to. You should be able to motivate and manage a successful site team. You will possess excellent communication skills, a logical and systematic approach. NVQ in Construction Site Management or at least SMSTS trained with CSCS Site Manager card.
- Strong team player but also able to work as an individual
- Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
- Able to work in a busy environment under pressure
- Excellent communication skills (email/phone/face to face)
- Possess a “can do” attitude and provide to support to other members of the team as required
- Clean Driving Licence
- Clear Enhanced DBS Check will be required
- Local
- Computer Literate
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Monday to Friday. Pension.
Start Date and Salary to be agreed, dependent on experience and qualifications, expected to be between 40000 and 50000.
