We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Nursing Home Manager to initially manager our small, high-quality elderly care home, and lead the transition into a brand-new, purpose-built nursing home in early 2027.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced nursing home manager to take the next step in their career, shaping culture, standards, and performance in a larger, modern setting from the ground up.
The Opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in:
- Overseeing the transition and expansion from a small care service into a larger nursing home
- Preparing the service for opening, commissioning, and full occupancy
- Embedding a person-centred, values-led culture across a growing multidisciplinary team
- Leading on Care Inspectorate compliance, governance, and quality assurance from day one
- Building strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and commissioners
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced Registered Manager within nursing & elderly care experience.
- Has successfully managed a nursing home and is ready to scale up
- Holds a current NMC PIN with strong clinical leadership experience
- Has a strong understanding of Care Inspectorate regulations, commissioning, and occupancy growth
- Is confident in recruiting, developing, and leading larger teams
- Is motivated by the opportunity to build something new and lasting
