Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently and safely within our warehouse environment. This role is vital to maintaining smooth logistics operations and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Experience with warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge will be advantageous. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in materials handling and warehouse experience to contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
You will be working in the Inbound/Outbound/Facilities department carrying out various
tasks as a forklift driver. You could be putting away materials in the racking in the stores.
Familiarise yourself with product codes and where stock needs to put away safely.
Please be aware this role won’t always be on the Forklift Truck and will be asked to
Support the business in other areas when you aren’t on the truck.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift licence recognised by relevant authorities
- Proven experience in warehouse management systems and materials handling
- Basic maths skills for inventory counting and documentation purposes
- Warehouse experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: £15.00-£15.50 per hour
