Best Lives is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our marketing activities during a maternity cover period. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full marketing mix, driving brand awareness, supporting recruitment campaigns, promoting our services, and helping us share the incredible work we do across our communities.
Reporting initially to the Head of Marketing and later to the Director of Communications and Engagement, you will play a key role in delivering our marketing strategy while managing and developing our Marketing Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
As Marketing Manager, you will:
- Lead and deliver marketing activity across digital, print, social media, events, and internal communications.
- Plan, manage and evaluate marketing campaigns aligned with organisational objectives and KPIs.
- Protect and develop the Best Lives brand, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- Create and oversee engaging marketing content and collateral.
- Support design and content production using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage and develop our website, ensuring content remains current and optimised.
- Oversee social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting and insights.
- Support wider communications and engagement projects.
- Line manage and support the development of the Marketing Coordinator.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Essential
- Relevant degree or professional marketing qualification.
- Experience planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of social media and digital marketing.
- Experience creating content across multiple marketing channels.
- Strong brand management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator.
- Experience working within health and social care.
- Previous line management or supervisory experience.
