The Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet required specifications and quality standards. You will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished goods while supporting compliance with internal and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identify defects and non-conformances, documenting findings accurately
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and ISO requirements
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or similar role
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using inspection tools and measurement equipment
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable Skills
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
- Background in engineering or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
