Bramble Foods is the wholesale and distribution arm of a family‑owned group of UK food businesses, based in Market Harborough. We specialise in supplying high‑quality ambient food products to independent retailers across the UK.
We distribute products made by our sister companies, including MHT Foods, Whitakers Chocolates, and The Bay Tree, offering a trusted range of cakes, tray bakes, chocolates, preserves, chutneys, and condiments.
Across our sites in Market Harborough, we employ approximately 150 people, who play a vital role in everything we do. Role Overview
We are looking to appoint a Warehouse Office Administrator to support the business during our busiest time of year. This role would suit an organised, dependable, and enthusiastic individual who is keen to join a small, supportive team within a well-established local business.
This is a temporary position starting on 1st September and running for 8 weeks. The role is Monday to Friday, with 6 hours per day to be worked between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
Although this is initially a temporary role, Bramble Foods is a growing company and there may be an opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
· Calling customers to book in deliveries
· Taking phone calls from suppliers booking in deliveries
· Answering queries from customers regarding delivery dates
· Manifesting consignments onto 3rd party courier portals
· Supporting the office team where required
Skills & Experience
· Administrative experience: Previous experience in an administrative, warehouse office, logistics, or customer service environment is desirable.
· Highly organised: able to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
· Strong communication skills: Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, couriers, and colleagues both by phone and email.
· Attention to detail: Accurate when processing information, booking deliveries, and handling customer and supplier queries.
· IT literate: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and learning new systems and courier portals.
· Self-motivated: Able to work independently using initiative while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
· Flexible and proactive: Willing to support colleagues and assist with a variety of administrative duties as business needs require.
