Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and confident cook staff to join our team at a new bar and cafe, in the grounds of Leadenham Polo Club. The bar is open to all, offering afternoon tea; Breakfast, simple lunches and evening meals, in addition to soft and alcoholic drinks and excellent coffee. This role will be full-time and will include weekends and some evenings. Salary will be based on hours worked and experience.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and production of simple food in accordance with food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
- Take ownership of planning menus and stock ordering
- When required, helping serving alcoholic, non-alcohol drinks and coffee to customers
- Develop strong relationships with customers, building rapport and always offering a friendly welcome
Skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with customers, the wider team, and suppliers.
- Experience in a kitchen (domestic or commercial) is essential; experience with pizza would be a bonus

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
