Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, including flatbed trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to guarantee roadworthiness and report any issues promptly
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
- Deliver goods directly to customers or distribution centers, maintaining professional communication throughout the process
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license with recent experience in commercial driving
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with flatbed or similar cargo types
- Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards for large vehicles
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently
- Time management skills with the ability to follow schedules precisely
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed,
