Estate & Letting Agent - Property Consultant
Kettering / Rushden | Full-time | £26,000 basic + OTE bonus | Independent local estate agency
Prime Choice is a long-established, independent estate and lettings agency covering Kettering, Rushden and the surrounding Northamptonshire area.
We are looking for a bright, organised and confident person to join our small team in a varied property role covering both sales and lettings. This is not a narrow corporate role where you only do one small part of the process. You will be involved in the real day-to-day work of an estate agency - helping people move, supporting landlords and tenants, arranging viewings, dealing with property enquiries, and helping properties progress from valuation to completion or move-in.
This would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes responsibility, and can think for themselves.
The role will include:
- arranging and carrying out property viewings
- speaking with buyers, tenants, landlords and sellers
- helping list properties for sale and rent
- preparing property details and checking adverts
- following up viewing feedback and offers
- dealing with general customer service enquiries
- helping with lettings administration and maintenance coordination
- keeping accurate notes and records on our CRM system
- supporting the wider team with the smooth running of the office
You do not need to know everything on day one. What we do need is someone who is switched on, reliable, calm under pressure and able to communicate properly with clients.
The person we are looking for:
- intelligent, organised and able to prioritise
- confident speaking to people by phone and in person
- good written English and attention to detail
- able to deal with customers professionally, even when they are frustrated
- comfortable working in a small team where everyone helps where needed
- interested in property, sales and customer service
- able to follow procedures but also use common sense
- full UK driving licence and access to a car preferred
Previous estate agency, lettings, sales, property management, retail, or customer service experience would be helpful, but attitude and ability are more important than a perfect CV.
