Aesthetic Therapist – Full-Time or Part-Time
Dr Grace Kelly Aesthetic Skin Clinic – Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire
We are looking for a friendly, passionate and motivated Aesthetic Therapist to join our doctor-led medical aesthetics and skin clinic in Chalfont St Peter.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about skincare, advanced treatments and providing an exceptional patient experience.
We are open to candidates with experience in aesthetics and advanced skin treatments, as well as therapists who are looking to develop their skills and build a career within medical aesthetics. A positive attitude, professionalism and a genuine passion for patient care are just as important to us as experience.
The Role
You will be involved in delivering a range of skin and aesthetic treatments, providing personalised skincare advice and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out skin consultations and assessments
- Delivering facial and advanced skin treatments, including Hydrafacials, chemical peels and microneedling
- Performing IPL, laser and radiofrequency treatments where appropriately qualified
- Creating bespoke treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals
- Recommending medical-grade skincare, including ZO Skin Health and Obagi
- Providing excellent aftercare and ongoing patient support
- Building strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Taking professional clinical photographs for treatment records
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Assisting doctors and medical practitioners with treatments and procedures
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, infection control and clinic presentation
- Supporting the wider clinic team and reception when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent
- Passionate about skincare and aesthetics
- Friendly, professional and confident with patients
- Warm, approachable and able to provide excellent customer service
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Confident discussing skincare and treatment recommendations
- Keen to learn and develop their knowledge and skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
A Level 4 Laser and IPL qualification would be an advantage, as would experience with Hydrafacial, SkinPen, IPL, laser, radiofrequency treatments or medical-grade skincare such as ZO Skin Health and Obagi.
However, training and development will be provided where appropriate, and we are happy to consider candidates who have the right attitude and foundation of skills but are looking to progress further into medical aesthetics.
