Insurance Brokerage Account Handler required for a specialist Insurance Broker in Orpington.
Williamson Carson & Whinney Insurance brokers are a specialist insurance brokers providing expert advice, cover and claims support to a range of industries such as technology companies, financial services, photographers and production companies. The company will provide a dedicated training plan to provide the candidate with the required level of knowledge and experience.
The company will also provide support to the candidate should they wish to study and progress into Chartered Institute of Insurance exams (CII).
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with the team and company director, including but not limited to;
- Accounts administration including uploading client payments to broking system
- Prepare insurance policy documents, renewal letters and quote letters
- Handle correspondence from existing clients, including mid-term adjustments and general enquiries
- Provide new quotes and renewal invitations for clients
- Answering the phone and dealing with a range of enquires
- Office support to staff members, assisting them with various administrative needs
- Build relationships and rapport with our clients
- Maintain and keep up to date client records
Key skills:
- Minimum Qualifications to include GCSE Maths and English A-C (new grading equivalent), ideally educated to A-Level standard. Candidates with degrees will also be considered.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Experience in using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Insurance experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. However, you must show a willingness to learn.
