Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel and Apartment Housekeeper to join our professional team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, communal areas, and private apartments to ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality or janitorial services and possess a keen eye for detail. Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, apartments, and communal areas in accordance with company standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored safely.
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with guests or residents.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linen or clothing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, full training provided.
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays is required.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
