Craftworks College is looking to employ an Animal Care tutor at our Brogdale Farm site in Faversham. We are a post 16 specialist provider college working with students who are ages 16 - 24 who have an EHCp and or mental health needs. Many of the students we work with are inspired by working on our small animal site to enter into work or volunteering with animals and we are looking for a tutor who can create an environment where students feel excited to learn new knowledge and skills to help them progress. You will be required to help plan the curriculum, outline the mid term plans, lesson plans, set targets and track students progress to support them to gain a qualification. You will work as part of a team supporting young people to be learn life skills, gain confidence and thrive, ensuring they can make positive next steps into adulthood.

For a little company there is a lot going on and we have been developing our college offer. The applicant will need to have a relevant teaching qualification, have education to level 2 in English and Maths, be computer literate and be able to self manage and work as part of a team.
