Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, following all safety protocols
- Manage medication stock levels through merchandising and inventory control, ensuring shelves are well-organized and fully stocked
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling over-the-counter items when appropriate
- Communicate clearly with diverse clients in English and Spanish, demonstrating strong bilingual skills to serve a broad community
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, practicing proper phone etiquette and providing timely assistance or directing calls as needed
- Support organizational tasks such as maintaining accurate records, processing prescriptions, and managing documentation with attention to detail
- Contribute to a clean, organized workspace by applying effective time management and organizational skills throughout your shift
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all essential pharmacy procedures
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are highly advantageous for serving diverse populations effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and confidently
- Basic math proficiency for handling medication quantities, pricing, and inventory counts
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
