Summary
We are seeking 5 dedicated Production Operators to join our dynamic food manufacturing team in <LOCATION>. This role is key to supporting our busy snack operation, ensuring products are packed efficiently and production runs smoothly to meet high daily demand.
Based at our main site in Harwich, Essex (CO12 4PT) you will play a hands-on role on the production line, maintaining product quality, pace, and safety standards at all times.
Responsibilities
- Working on a fast-moving production line, packing snack products into boxes efficiently and accurately
- Standing for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts with breaks), maintaining focus and consistency throughout
- Supporting the smooth running of machinery and frying operations, escalating any issues promptly
- Keeping up with the pace of the production line to meet daily output targets
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times
- Assisting with line cleaning and basic maintenance to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Working closely with team members and supervisors to ensure production runs efficiently
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating industrial equipment is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
