Scope of the Role
As a Leisure Activities Assistant you will join a small team supporting our Country Pursuits Manager in delivering a safe, enjoyable, and well-organised programme of outdoor activities for Members and guests. You'll assist with the planning, coordination, and day-to-day running of activities such as shooting, fishing, trekking, cycling, and water sports ensuring fun memorable experiences.
The main activities you will be involved in preparation/set up of and assisting in are:
- Clay Pigeon shooting / Live Shooting
- Hill Walking in local area and surrounding hills with individuals or groups
- Fly fishing and other types of fishing
- Cycling and bicycle maintenance
- Archery Axe Throwing
Requirements for the role:
- Qualification, experience or strong interest and previous personal participation in outdoor pursuits
- Good awareness of health safety considerations in outdoor environments
- Physical fitness and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Friendly, confident, and member-focused
- Strong teamworking and organisational skills
