Strongvox develop new homes across Bristol, Somerset & North Devon. We are seeking a dedicated Sales Team Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team, working across our operating area. This role involves maintaining and enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of our landscaped areas and internal de-snagging work, ensuring they meet high standards of presernation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or construction, with practical experience using various tools and machinery both inside and outside. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in maintenance, gardening, and mechanical tasks within a professional environment. All tools and a company van will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, and general gardening tasks to uphold site appearance.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance internally including decorating and de-snagging work.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organised work environment across all sites.
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or construction environments.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, excavators, and irrigation systems confidently.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for various types of equipment and machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
