Nail Technician (Part-Time)

Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and passionate Nail Technician to join our growing beauty business. The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering high-quality nail services while creating an excellent experience for every client. This role includes hands-on nail treatments, client care, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting light social media activity to showcase our work and grow our brand.
Key DutiesNail Services
- Perform professional manicures and pedicures
- Apply gel polish, BIAB, gel extensions, and nail enhancements
- Create nail art and customised nail designs based on client preferences
- Carry out nail preparation, shaping, cuticle care, and finishing treatments
- Recommend suitable nail treatments and aftercare routines
- Stay updated with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products
Hygiene & Salon Standards
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitisation of nail tools, equipment, and workstations
- Ensure treatment areas are clean, organised, and prepared for clients
- Follow health, safety, and salon operating procedures at all times
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of low supplies
Client Care & Front-of-House
- Welcome clients and create a friendly, professional environment
- Manage appointments, bookings, and walk-in enquiries
- Provide consultation and personalised service recommendations
- Offer aftercare advice to help clients maintain results
- Build long-term client relationships through excellent service
Business & Brand Support
- Promote services and recommend relevant treatments or retail products
- Support basic social media engagement including stories, before/after photos, and service highlights
- Contribute ideas to help grow client engagement and salon visibility
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician
- Skilled in gel nails, gel polish, manicures, pedicures, and nail art
- Experience with BIAB and nail extensions is desirable
- Beauty or nail certification is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to upsell services and maintain client relationships
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with social media is an advantage
