Responsibilities
- Organise and maintain legal files, documents, and case records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and reports in accordance with firm standards
- Conduct research on legal issues, statutes, regulations, and case law to support ongoing cases
- Liaise with clients, witnesses, and external agencies to schedule meetings and gather information
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and promptly
- Manage calendar appointments for Solicitors, including court dates and deadlines
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Support the legal team during hearings or meetings as required
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience within a legal environment is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a professional manner when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all work undertaken
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
