The Role
You will provide key support on Court of Protection matters, assisting with the progression of files and ensuring clients receive a professional and compassionate service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting fee earners with a caseload of Court of Protection matters
- Assisting with applications, correspondence, and legal documentation
- Preparing and reviewing documents accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with clients, family members, professional deputies, financial institutions, and third parties
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring files are managed effectively
- Assisting with client onboarding and ongoing file administration
- Supporting the preparation of reports and Court documentation
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
- Providing a high level of client care when dealing with sensitive and complex situations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working within Court of Protection, Private Client, Probate, or a similar legal environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team
- A genuine interest in supporting clients and developing a career within Private Client law
- A full clean driving licence is desirable due to occasional client visits
