As part of our strategic growth plans, we're looking to appoint an energetic and driven Business Development Manager to help us expand our customer base, develop existing relationships, and drive revenue growth.
The Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and promoting our wide range of plant and tool hire services. You'll play a key role in growing the business by bringing in new accounts and supporting the continued satisfaction of our current customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Hampshire and surrounding areas.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and networking events.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and quotations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure client requirements are met on time and to standard.
- Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity.
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management – ideally within the plant/tool hire, construction, or related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target driven.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Good knowledge of the local area and existing client base is a plus.
