But this is more than themed hospitality. At 58th Street, we don’t 'act' 1930 — we live it. Our venue operates as a fully immersive, in-world environment where every team member remains in character from the moment service begins. For our guests, this is not a tribute to the past — it is genuine time travel.
We are seeking an experienced waiter who can deliver world-class service while fully embodying the world of 1930s New York. If you can deliver world class service whilst speaking like you’ve stepped straight off a Manhattan sidewalk - we want to meet you.
The Role
As an Experienced Waiter, you will:
- Deliver confident, attentive, high-standard table service
- Take orders accurately, serve food & drinks, and process payments efficiently
- Maintain full knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions
- Work seamlessly within a fast-paced, high-end service environment
- Keep your section immaculate, organised, and service-ready at all times
- Remain fully “in world” throughout service — maintaining 1930s language, mannerisms, and character
Breaking character during service is not part of our culture. Our guests step through the door expecting to leave 202 behind.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter (restaurant, fine dining, or upscale hospitality)
- Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure
- Confident presence and natural theatrical awareness, performing in character for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and impeccably presented
- Evening and weekend availability is essential
Experience in immersive theatre, performance, or themed hospitality is advantageous but not required.
