We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Marketing Specialist to join our ten-strong Marketing and Publicity Team based at our head office in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

The role:
This is a new operationally oriented senior role reporting to our Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering a programme of marketing campaigns that raise our company profile, strengthen client relationships and support business growth.
Working collaboratively with team members and wider stakeholders across the business, you will ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned to business goals, as set out in our Marketing Strategy.
You will be expected to:
· Plan, coordinate and execute complex, integrated marketing campaigns
· Manage campaign schedules and marketing activity plans
· Work with content, digital and creative specialists to develop effective marketing materials
· Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
· Coordinate budget, resources and marketing assets
· Build strong relationships with internal technical experts and other stakeholders
· Identify and implement improvements to marketing processes and ways of working
· Provide guidance, support and mentoring to team members at a range of experience levels
· Lead marketing projects and coordinate activity across project teams where required.
The team member we are looking for:
We are looking for a proven marketing professional who can confidently lead campaigns, coordinate project teams and influence stakeholders across the business. You will have the practical experience, drive and commercial awareness needed to help shape how we engage with clients and stakeholders through our marketing campaigns.
You will be comfortable with regular working in an office setting and the benefits of a collaborative open-plan environment. Experience in leading others and/or providing coaching and mentoring is beneficial to support the future growth of the team and your own progression within the role.
Essential for the role:
· Degree or post-graduate qualification (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business or Communications.
· Professional qualification with Chartered Institute of Marketing required
· Experience working within a marketing team in a B2B environment.
· Proven experience planning and delivering successful marketing campaigns
· Strong project management and organisational skills
· Significant experience in the use of marketing-specific project planning tools such as Trello
· Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value
· Experience coordinating the work of others and leading projects
· A proactive, collaborative and adaptable approach
· The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
· A strong understanding of campaign measurement and evaluation.
· The ability to critically evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, quality, tone of voice and brand alignment.
Desirable for the role:
· Tenure in a similar senior level role
· Experience taking responsibility for the delivery of complex business-critical projects
· Knowledge and application of formal project management methodologies such as Agile or similar
· Demonstrated ability to motivate colleagues and lead through influence rather than hierarchy
· A growth mindset and exemplary attitude in relation to continuous professional development
· Experience developing guidance, governance or best practice for marketing and publicity processes
· Comprehensive skills in the application of AI to support content planning, campaign development, audience research and idea generation whilst understanding the limitations, risks and ethical considerations of AI, including bias, copyright, confidentiality and misinformation
· Experience writing marketing strategies.
