We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Production Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Operate food production machinery and equipment efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow throughout the shift
- Follow strict food safety procedures and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines to maintain product quality and compliance
- Assist in the preparation, mixing, and packaging of food products according to specified standards
- Conduct regular quality checks and monitor production processes to identify any deviations or issues
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, including equipment and workstations
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine performance, and any incidents or irregularities
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment using mechanical knowledge to minimize downtime
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, and recording data accurately
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict safety protocols at all times
