Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Domestic Appliance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of household appliances to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of domestic appliances including washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, refrigerators, microwave ovens etc.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues by applying strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience to identify root causes quickly.
- Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose complex appliance faults.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each service visit.
- Provide expert advice on equipment care, preventative maintenance strategies, and upgrades to improve appliance longevity and efficiency.Experience
- Proven experience in equipment repair within the domestic appliance sector or related environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
- Experience working with refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Gas Qualified a distinct advantage although we are keen to hear from Engineers with or without Gas Qualifications.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance tasks across various household appliances and related electrical systems.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to appliance repair, electrical work, which includes Risk Assesments & Manual Handling.

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
