We’re currently looking for a Container Grade Estimator at our London Gateway Depot.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, photographing and estimating all incoming containers in the depot.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Comply with all company health and safety policies
-
Inspect all incoming containers reporting on status and grade
-
Complete repair estimates for all damaged containers including photographic evidence

Control of traffic flow within the depot

Provide instructions to the ECH operators to meet the HGV requirements
What we’re looking for:
- Has a keen eye for detail.
-
Can quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.

Experience in container depot environment – advantageous but no essential
-
Working knowledge of IICL/CSC advantageous

Good organizational skills

Experience estimating damaged containers preferred

Excellent team player
-
Flexible attitude to an often-demanding role

Able to write concise inspection codes and accurately interpret them – would be advantageous but training will be provided

Can communicate clearly and effectively using a two-way radio.

Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised work area.
