Northumbria University Nursery provides outstanding care, learning and development for up to 96 children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years in an award winning purpose built building. We are currently the only nursery in the North East with the Real Living Wage accreditation, committed to paying our nursery staff a wage that reflects their role and skills.
We are looking to recruit highly motivated and inspiring Childcare Practitioners to join our team. This will involve participating in the planning and assessment of activities and contributing to a curriculum which supports young children’s individual learning, development and potential through the provision of ‘hands on’ experiences and real life opportunities. We are offering opportunities for qualified and experienced Nursery Nurses.

Qualifications and Experience Relevant:
- Full and Relevant Early Years Qualification is required, and a minimum of at least one full year experience in recent paid employment in a full day care setting.

The positions are to work, Monday to Friday, working a shift system between the hours of 7.45 to 18.15 to meet the operational needs of the nursery. The post is based at City Campus East.
