Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of bar staff, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all culinary standards are met, including cooking and food safety protocols.
- Manage the organisation of food production and ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
- Assist with the preparation of beverages, including specialised cocktails and barista-style drinks.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for supplies as needed to maintain inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive working environment.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the bar area, adhering to hygiene standards.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in serving beverages, including cocktails and speciality drinks; barista experience is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods.

- Good understanding of food production processes within a hospitality setting.
