We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our talented team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing, baking, and presenting our delicious pastries and baked goods. Your enthusiasm for food production and commitment to food safety will help ensure our bakery runs smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and baking processes, ensuring all products meet quality standards
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other kitchen tools
- Follow recipes accurately to produce consistent baked goods that align with brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support the team during busy periods by preparing ingredients, assembling products, and managing inventory
- Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
Requirements
- Experience of 1 year minimum, in food production, baking, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Strong interest or background in culinary arts, baking, or restaurant operations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
