Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts/Bookkeeper to join our finance team! Duties
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Process accounts payable by verifying invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining vendor records
- Maintain organized financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by preparing necessary reports and documentation
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely data entry and reporting
- Monitor cash flow and assist in bank reconciliations to keep financial data current and precise
Skills
- Proficiency in popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
