About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, multi-skilled tradesperson to join our team on projects across Sussex. We handle a mix of full house extensions, complete kitchen and bathroom refits, overall renovations, and ongoing domestic and commercial maintenance.
We need someone who takes pride in their work, works cleanly, and can turn their hand to several trades without needing step-by-step supervision.
Responsibilities
- Carpentry & Joinery: First and second fix, kitchens, doors, timber framing, trim, and general structural repairs.
- Kitchens & Bathrooms: Complete rip-outs, board work, unit installation, basic plumbing, and sanitaryware fitting.
- Plastering & Tiling: Wall/floor tiling, plaster repairs, patching, making good, and preparing surfaces for finish.
- General Building & Structural Work: Assisting on extensions, blockwork, alterations, and structural alterations.
- Maintenance & Snagging: Diagnostic repairs, minor plumbing fix-ups, general maintenance, and finishing work on both domestic properties and commercial sites.
- Site Management: Keeping a tidy workspace, working safely, and being respectful when working in occupied homes or active commercial premises.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Multi-Trade Experience: Solid background in at least two core trades (e.g., Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling, or general building) with strong all-round building knowledge.
- Tool & Site Knowledge: Confident using all standard power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Able to read basic plans/drawings, adapt on-site, and work through unexpected issues cleanly.
- Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
- Your own hand and power tools (Specialist kit provided).
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude with clients.
- CSCS or formal trade qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) are a bonus, but practical experience and a good eye for detail matter more.
Pay: £38,480.00-£41,600.00 per year
