Our Facilities:
Our well-equipped practice includes:
- Six consulting rooms
- Dedicated imaging suite
- Dedicated dental suite with digital dental radiography
- Two operating theatres
- Karl Storz laparoscopic equipment
- Flexible endoscopy
- Multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring
- Comprehensive in-house laboratory including haematology, biochemistry, urinalysis and cytology
- Visiting orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeons
- Hydrotherapy pool
We are proud to support professional development, with two of our vets currently studying towards certificates in surgery and medicine.
Our multidisciplinary team includes an ACPAT Physiotherapist, based in the practice two days each week, providing both land-based and hydrotherapy rehabilitation for our own patients and referral cases.
We also work alongside a pain consultant, behaviourist and veterinary acupuncturist, enabling a genuinely collaborative and holistic approach to patient care.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced small animal vet who is confident with occasional sole charge and, above all, enjoys being a vet.
You’ll enjoy working alongside passionate colleagues who strive to provide the very best care for their patients while supporting the high-quality out-of-hours service that is an important part of our practice.

We Can Offer You:

- A forward-thinking practice with genuine clinical freedom. We believe in doing as much as possible in-house and actively encourage the development of individual clinical interests.
- A 1:5 out-of-hours rota, with a day off following a weekday on-call and a long weekend after a weekend on-call.
Once time off in lieu is taken into account, the average daytime working week is approximately 29 hours.
- Our experienced RVN team provides 24-hour nursing cover, assisting with emergencies, triaging calls and caring for inpatients overnight.
- Excellent work-life balance, with time back for any rare additional hours worked and three regular 5 pm finishes each week.
- Well-managed appointment diaries, including 15-minute routine consultations, double appointments for more complex cases, protected same-day emergency appointments and 30 minutes of catch-up time built into the end of each day.
