Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant dining environment, ensuring guests have memorable experiences. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the point of sale system
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during their meal and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness of service areas throughout shifts
- Handle payments accurately, including cash and card transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with setting up dining areas before service and cleaning after closing shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new staff members
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous but not essential
