Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Steal Pipe Fitter Mate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing steal pipe, supporting the pipe fitters team.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation procedures
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge
- Conduct inspections of existing plumbing systems to identify leaks, corrosion or other issues requiring maintenance or replacement
- Use carpentry skills to prepare work sites, including cutting and fitting materials for optimal pipe placement
- Perform heavy lifting of pipes and related materials safely and efficiently during installation or repair tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project records
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and building codes while executing all tasks to ensure a secure working environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or Plumber in commercial or industrial settings with a strong understanding of plumbing systems and mechanical principles
- Skilled in welding techniques relevant to pipe fitting applications
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes required for piping installation and repairs
- Knowledge of basic math for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high quality standards

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
