The Role
Carbon3 is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to manage the delivery of Air Source Heat Pump and renewable heating projects. You will take ownership of projects from mobilisation through to completion, managing engineers, subcontractors, clients, programme, costs and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage ASHP projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
- Plan and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, materials and project resources.
- Maintain regular site presence and support engineering teams.
- Manage client relationships and attend project/progress meetings.
- Monitor project programmes, budgets, costs and variations.
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with RAMS and relevant standards.
- Manage commissioning, snagging, documentation and project close-out.
- Provide technical support and resolve project issues.
- Ensure project information, job packs and reporting remain accurate and up to date.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience managing ASHP, renewable heating, HVAC or mechanical projects.
- Good technical understanding of Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- Experience managing engineers and subcontractors.
- Strong organisation, planning and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs.
- Good understanding of health & safety within construction/building services.
- Strong client-facing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Desirable: ASHP/manufacturer training, MCS knowledge, IOSH/SMSTS or relevant mechanical/building-services qualifications.
