We are seeking a skilled, hard-working, and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in plastering techniques and be confident using both hand and power tools across residential and commercial projects.
Applicants must have their own plastering tools and hold a full clean driving licence. A company vehicle can be provided for the right candidate, although applicants with their own vehicle are also welcome.
Rendering experience is preferred but not essential. Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality finishes are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for plastering and rendering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents where required.
- Mix and apply plaster and render to walls, ceilings, and exterior surfaces using the correct techniques.
- Carry out internal plastering work and assist with rendering projects when required.
- Complete all work with smooth, clean, and high-quality finishes.
- Work alongside other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all health and safety regulations on-site at all times.
- Assist with patch repairs and decorative plasterwork when required.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy throughout projects.
Requirements & Experience
- Proven experience as a Plasterer within the construction industry is essential.
- Rendering experience is preferred but not essential.
- Must have own plastering tools.
- Full clean driving licence required.
- Company vehicle available if needed, unless you have your own vehicle.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools related to plastering work.
- Familiarity with masonry and general building work is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong timekeeping, reliability, and work ethic are essential.
- Experience in roofing, carpentry, or bricklaying would be beneficial but is not essential.
