Wraparound Play Worker

Job type: Part-time, Term-time only
Pay: £12.75 – £14.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Start Date: September 2026
Schedule: 3:00pm – 5:30pm, 3-4 days per week
About the Role
We're looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Wraparound Play Worker to join our team. You'll help welcome children after school, run engaging activities, and make sure every child feels safe, happy, and looked after until home time.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside other staff to run a smooth, well-supervised session
- Plan and deliver your own clubs and activities with confidence and creativity
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Help create a calm, welcoming space at the end of the school day
Requirements
- A genuine enjoyment of working with children
- Confidence both as part of a team and running sessions independently
- Reliable and proactive attitude
- Own transport required, as the role involves working across multiple schools throughout the week
- Enhanced DBS check (existing check welcome, or support provided with your application before you start)
