This post provides an exciting part time position (14:30 hrs per week/Thurs/Frid only) for an Environmental Health Officer/Environmental Health Practitioner working within the Housing Standards Team at North Lincolnshire Council. The post is a permanent job share position, so an ability to communicate effectively and good organisation skills are essential to being able to deliver this role effectively.
The work of the team is varied and interesting ranging from Part 1 housing inspections, Licensing of Mandatory HMO's, delivery of Selective Licensing and Caravan Licensing.
You will be joining a friendly supportive team who enjoy and are committed to keeping residents safe and well in their homes. The team work collaboratively with partners to ensure the most vulnerable are prioritised.
New enforcement powers under the Renters Rights Act 2025 and a new HHSRS system make the next months and years very much a team effort in terms of effective delivery of the governments expectations.
