Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' well-being, and promoting independence. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive and respectful care. The job role includes sleeping night shifts, evenings, weekends, bank holidays etc.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and daily activities, encouraging independence where possible.
- Follow personalised care plans to meet each resident’s specific needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery.
- Assist with light domestic duties such as tidying rooms and serving meals.
- Support clients in their own homes by helping with errands, medication reminders, and other daily tasks.
Requirements
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written..
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being.
- Ability to work flexibly, including shifts that may include evenings or weekends if required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
