Job Overview
We are looking for 2 Temporary Operators to join our production team and support the Team Leader across all operational functions relating to Roastie Toastie production.
You will play an important role in maintaining production output, product quality and operational efficiency while ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and housekeeping are maintained throughout your shift.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, reliable and organised, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

At Land Energy, we operate a high-performance biomass Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plant equipped with an Organic Rankine Cycle turbine, along with a 100,000-tonne wood pellet production facility. Our new wood briquette production line produces 45,000 tonnes annually.

What you’ll be doing:
- Support the operation of Roastie Toastie processing equipment and other production operations as required.
- Support production activities in line with business demands, minimising unnecessary costs while maintaining product quality standards.
- Take responsibility for production output, product quality and supporting dispatch operations during your shift.
- Monitor and report on the performance of Roastie Toastie machinery and production equipment.
- Develop and improve your operational skills to support production targets and changing business requirements.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support root-cause analysis of job-related issues.
- Communicate and report any performance-related issues promptly, ensuring EHS, production and quality expectations are met or exceeded.
- Collate shift production, quality and downtime data and complete relevant reports accurately.
- Identify and report waste and contribute to initiatives that improve efficiency and deliver value to the business.
- Work effectively and communicate clearly with colleagues, on-site personnel and contractors.
- Complete all housekeeping tasks in a timely manner and maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by management.
