Job Summary
We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our team. As one of the first people our patients meet or speak to, you'll play a vital role in helping them access the right care while providing a warm, professional welcome and excellent customer service. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to support the smooth running of the practice and make a genuine difference to our patients and local community
Duties
- Welcoming patients and visitors, ensuring everyone receives a friendly and professional service.
- Answering telephone calls and helping patients access the most appropriate service or appointment.
- Booking, amending and managing appointments accurately across a range of clinical services.
- Registering patients, updating records, issuing medications/prescriptions where appropriate, and maintaining accurate information on our clinical systems.
- Responding to patient enquiries both face to face, over the telephone and electronically with confidence and compassion.
- Working closely with GPs, nurses and the wider practice team to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.
